What we collect

Game Planet uses same-origin anonymous metrics with no third-party services. We record: a random anonymous ID generated in your browser; visits and returns (days since first visit and visit count); entering a game, the game becoming ready, and successful saves; play time while the game page is visible; render interval percentiles and stall counts; renderer and browser category (such as Chrome, Safari or WeChat); coarse CPU thread and memory buckets; interface language; and a coarse phone, tablet or desktop class.

Regular metrics are limited to 120 events per anonymous ID per hour. Metrics are counted per anonymous ID. Clearing site data creates a new ID, so the numbers are not exact head counts and cannot identify you across devices.

We also record error types and the page paths where they occur, with no error contents or IP addresses, query parameters, fragments, stack traces or resource URLs. Each visit (page load) sends at most 3 reports; the server records at most 30 per anonymous ID per hour and 5,000 site-wide per UTC day.

We also record three site page loading and interaction performance values (Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift) and the page path to improve loading speed, with no page content.

What we never collect

We do not record IP addresses or store raw user agents, use third-party tracking or ads, or upload game saves or game content. There are no accounts.

Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC)

When DNT or GPC is on, the site sends no automatic metrics (including on page exit), and Jianghu: Ten Trials does not upload scores and keeps your best score on this device only. Reading the public player chat and posting messages yourself still work.

What stays on your device

Your browser's local storage keeps the anonymous ID, your chat nickname, read position and language choice. If storage fails, no metrics or messages are sent.

JY2 saves live in your browser's IndexedDB. The library and game pages read only a save summary (level, faction, save time) on this device to show "last played" and "My saves". Saves are never uploaded. You can export/import backups on the game details page; a target slot is written only after you confirm an import.

Clearing this site's browser data resets all of the above and deletes local saves. Public messages and scores already submitted are not deleted.

Public messages and scores

The player chat is shared across languages. Nicknames, times, messages and author badges are public to all visitors. The server also stores a random anonymous ID and language, used only for rate limits and counts and never made public. Do not post contact details; messages containing web addresses, emails or five or more consecutive digits are rejected.

Jianghu: Ten Trials submits finished scores automatically. Nicknames, heroes, dates, floors, scores, duration and rank are public; anonymous IDs and run log hashes stay on the server.

Private feedback sent through the earlier feedback form stays private and is never posted to the player chat.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Metrics, messages and scores are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database.

Contact and deletion

Because there are no accounts, we cannot look up your data by identity. To remove a public message or score, describe its time and nickname in the player chat and the author will hide it after checking.
